MSR partners with Pentexis to deliver Research On Mobile
MSR has partnered local software design company, Pentexis Ltd, to develop and commercialise a new mobile phone-powered research software, Research On Mobile. The software is a Java application that allows real time data capture on, and transfer from, mobile phones by field researchers. Speaking to journalists at a press launch on the 19th of October 2009, the Director of Pentexis Ltd, Mr. Kwabena Nuamah, indicated that the software promises tremendous utility for both client-side and agency-side researchers, especially with regards to lead times on data collection.

MSR to power telephone research products with new CATI centre
MSR, working in partnership with Big-Net Inverstment Ltd, will from November 2009 operate a Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing(CATI) Centre from the A & C Mall at East Legon. The Centre will be running on a customised CATI software developed by technology partners, Pentexis Ltd. According to the Executive Director of MSR, Mr. Isaac Gwumah, the CATI centre forms a focal part of MSR’s overall strategy of cutting down on lead times in data collection and processing on quantitative research assignments.

Market Research Conference slated for August 2011
The Bureau of Market & Social Research (Ghana) and the University of Applied Management (Germany) have slated Ghana’s first-ever Market Research Conference for August 2011.
The Conference Is aimed at primarily showcasing the achievements and landmarks of market research practice in Ghana while highlighting existing gaps and training needs. According to Dr. Martin Gyambrah, the Director of the Ghana Campus of the University of Applied Management and a Senior Consultant at MSR, the Conference will provide a self-introspective opportunity for management consultants and research agencies.
